NIGHT LIFE: THE ART EXHIBITION

Curators, Derrick B. Harden & Laura O’Reilly teamed up with FLAVORPILL & ROXY COTTONTAIL at the The Keeley Gallery in New York City to present another great installation: NIGHTLIFE, THE ART EXHIBITION. The idea behind the exhibition was to have each of the three artists give their perspective on the occurrences of nightlife between the hours of 10PM and 7AM while Roxy did what she does best: ROCK THE PARTY! As shown in the progression of the works, the night starts off “bubbly,” filled with conversation (Podasca) then progresses toward the inevitably sexual (Keeley) and ends, after several moments of frantic-ness (Stubbs), with a naked man laying on a bed cuddling a trash bag at 7AM.

Que up that old Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons “December, 1963 (Oh What A Night)” and take a look at the art.
