EYE SPY: THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED

There was something very profound about seeing this record’s final resting place at the 179th Street station last night. I wondered if it lie there singing “this will be the day that I die.”

“A long, long time ago I can still remember how that music used to make me smile… I can’t remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride but something touched me deep inside the day the music died.” ~Don McLean: American Pie.
