Andreas Hykade’s “Love & Theft”

Andreas Hykade’s colorfully animated masterpiece, “Love & Theft,” is set to a musical backdrop that locks you in for the audio/visual ride of a lifetime.

An homage to the history of animation, the power of movement, and the intrinsic relationship between sight and sound, “Love & Theft” takes it’s audience on a triptic journey in and out of what feels like a lucid stream of conciousness, tickling the memory while drastically affecting the present.

I rode the wave three times once I was introduced to the short and I’m still spinning from the experience. Hykade seems to push everything to the limits with a fierce subtlety that keeps your heart racing and your mind wandering.

Make sure you fasten your seatbelts before the adventure begins!

Thanks Gerald.
