Urban Signals Launch Party

Last night Urban Signals, a company with a new location-based social networking mobile application had it’s kick off event at the Safeharbor Gallery in New York’s SOHO area.

The application is free and “allows you to connect with people and puts an end to those frequent missed connections that happen all-too often in the city.”

The event was decorated with some of the city’s most stylish tastemakers and industry personalities. There were free giveaways, and variety of different foods including a hot dog and pop corn stand as well as tons of alcohol. The gallery was also decorated with works and illustrations from local artists.

To say the least, the event was pulled off flawlessly which is an indicator of the type of seamlessness you can expect from the application. The Dj kept partygoers moving throughout the night with what seemed to be all the right tunes.

I’d say Urban Signals made one hell of a connection their first time out. I can’t wait for the next one!
